AusGroup subsidiary secures Ichthys rope access contract By Martin Kovacs, 4 Jul 2017

AusGroup subsidiary MAS Australasia has advised that it has entered into an agreement with Clough Projects International for the supply of rope access trade services for the Inpex-operated Ichthys project.

MAS advised that the contract supports the hook-up and pre-commissioning phase of Ichthys' central processing facility and FPSO, with it to be responsible for the delivery of rope access trade activities required for the hook-up and pre-commissioning scope of work.

“This contract further strengthens MAS’ oil and gas footprint as industry leaders, and allows for the creation of new Australian jobs,” MAS stated. “The scope of work will provide opportunities for skilled trade rope access technicians, supported by supervision, safety, administration and management roles.”
